32 weeks and counting!

Well I'm now 32 weeks and I cannot believe that Chase will be here in 8 weeks or less. Time has just flown by, especially with all these Holidays! Last weekend we went and had a 3d ultrasound done. Here are some pics from it.

I cant wait till the little guy is here! I wanna know what he looks like, who he looks like and what Gavin thinks of him! The lady told us that he already has alot of hair so im really curious to see if he will! Less then 8 weeks to go and this little guy will be here and I cant wait!

Baby shower.

This past saturday I had my baby shower and it turned out really well. Mostly everyone showed up and it was so nice to see them! It made me so excited for this little guy to get here, its so close yet so far away! Here are some pictures from the shower!

Belly Progress!

I love looking back at pics and seeing how much my belly has grown! Im planning to take a picture each week that way i can see how much I have changed. Here is what I have so far and thats a big difference in just 7 weeks! I cant wait till my little man gets here! 16 weeks to go!

How cute can one kid get?

I feel so blessed to have such a beautiful child! I feel like he just gets cuter and cuter by the day. I am so happy that I am able to be home with him everyday and watch him grow and learn. His learning capabilities just amaze me! Last night I was making dinner and I heard him count to three! I was like wait what did you just say?! I remember being able to cuddle this little boy in my arms and now we can have little conversations! Motherhood is something so beautiful. Here are some of the newest pictures of him. Isnt he just perfect? He knows where majority of his body parts are and likes to just blurt them outand points to them! Its to cute! Each day I cant wait to see what else he is going to learn he catches on to things so fast it is just amazing!

Family Fun!

This past friday I took Gavin to Tempe Town Lake to let him run around and enjoy the beautiful weather! He loves to just run free and its hard to let him do that in the apartments. He loved the water and all the open space!

He also loved all the planes that flew over since its so close to the airport and the lightrail that goes right over the water!

Then on saturday we met up with Christina, Broc, my mom and my brother and went to a pumpkin patch! It was so much fun.

Gavin was so interested in everything at the farm. He loved the animals and the hayride, he didnt want to get off!

Then on Sunday Richard and I took gavin to Desert Breze Park for the first time it was so neat. Not your ordinary park. It has a little train you can ride, a carousel and splash playground that gavin just couldnt stay away from. I figured that the water would have been turned off given that it is the end of October, but I was wrong. So we just let Gavin go in the water with his onesie on.

He had a blast!

Him and another little boy were running and they bumped heads, the other little boy was probably 3 or 4 and once they hit the other little boy started crying and Gavin fell to the ground. Gavin just got up and was gonna keep playing but once he realized the other boy was crying he started crying ( I think he thought he was in trouble). This little boy has a strong head!

23 Weeks!

I had a Dr's appointment yesterday with my new DR and everything went well. She told me that my placenta has moved up so at this point I am in the clear for a regular delivery. Woo hoo no C-section! Unless of course something else comes up. As of right not his head is up by my belly button and his feet are down by my hips. My belly is measuring 25 weeks, two weeks ahead. I guess we are going to have another big baby! She said that she wont let him get to 9 or 10 pounds, if need be we will induce me. I go for my glucose test in a week and will have an ultrasound at 32 weeks to check his growth! I'm so glad everything is going ok so far, considering all the risks I have in store from my heart shaped uterus.

Little Scare.

So tonight we ended up at the hospital because I was having cramping all day, and with me being at a high risk for preterm labor I didn't want to take any chances. We went and they monitored me for contractions, didn't seem to be having any, or at least the machine wasn't picking anything up. So they did an ultrasound to check my cervical length and it was just fine. They said it's probably just normal aches and stretching of the uterus, but that if it continued to come back. Changes!

Yesterday I was looking at all kinds of different pictures of Gavin at different stages and looking back it is amazing how much different he is!

The day my little man was born!

The difference between one month and five months is just amazing! If he wasnt my baby and someone showed me those two pictures i would think it was two different kids.

I think around 5 months is when he started getting his look and has just progressed from there. He definitely isnt the same baby as he as when he was a month old!

The changes to me are just so great! Its so fun to watch your baby grow and his look change. I cant wait to see how much more he changes. And i cant wait to see what our new little boy will look like!

Halfway done already?!

So this past friday I went to the Dr for my monthly check up and everything is going pretty good. Im 20 weeks and counting! The only concern right is that my placenta is close to my cervix which could pose a problem, but they believe it is going to move up as my uterus gets bigger. I also found out that my DR is moving to their Anthem office, so i'm going to have to find another Dr :(. Im not to excited about that because I really like her. Shes the only one that I have seen for both pregnancies so far. As for the pregnancy I feel great! The baby is moving like crazy and it is so amazing. I forgot the feeling and now that I'm experiencing it again I love it! He moves mostly at night so I have a feeling he is going to be a night owl! I just cant wait to see what he looks like!

It's a Boy!

Well today we found out we are having another baby boy! It was a big day for us, Gavin's 2nd birthday and finding out we are having another son! When the lady was doing the ultrasound she was taking measurements and before she even told us it was a boy I saw his penis! We couldn't be happier and I just cant wait to meet the new little man, and also see what a good big brother Gavin will be!

Gavin's 2nd Birthday Party.

This past saturday we had Gavins's second birthday party, it was such a blast! We had it at Amazing Jakes again and Gavin really loved it. Today is his actual birthday and I cannot believe he is 2 years old! The time just flys by.

We got him an Elmo cake and then my mom got him a cute little cake that he could get into, the only thing is he didnt want to get his hands dirty!

Last year he didn't care if he was dirty because he had cake everywhere! His hands, hair, legs, clothes!

His favorite part of the party was the presents (of course). He got alot of good stuff and loved it all! He already has so many toys and got so many more from his party, but it will be good for the new baby later on.
