Chase's hospital visit.

It all started with Gavin getting a cold and I was hoping a praying Chases wouldn't catch it. Who was I kidding? So Chase started to get congested and then started to get a cough. Well sunday March 21st we did not like the way he was breathing and his congestion was way worse, so we took him to the ER. We went left at about 6:30 am and headed to Cardon Childrens Medical center and within a few hours they diagnosed baby Chase with RSV. This meant a hospital stay for him, only being 5 weeks old they had to monitor him. As a parent this is one of the worst things. We experienced the same thing with gavin as far as the hospital stay at 5 weeks, except his was a little more intense, he had surgery. After 4 days in the hospital Chase got to go home and is now doing much much better! I must say that hospital is amazing and if you ever find yourself needing to take your kids to the hospital definitely reccommend this one! Its even worth the drive if you live far. Here are some pictures from his stay.

Chase One month!

Oh how time flies! I cant believe how fast little Chase is growing. I wish they could just stay this way forever. I forgot how much I love this stage. His little smiles make my heart melt. Here are his one month pictures!

Chase's newborn pictures!

I know these are a little late but I have been sooooo busy! When Chase was 6 days old we had his pictures take by the lovely Kristen Self! She did an amazing job on them! She did our Maternity and Delivery pictures as well! I'll share some of the delivery pictures first! They are amazing!

Chase is here!

He finally made his big entrance. We went to the hopsital to be induced at 8:30 a.m. on 2/11. When we went in I was only 1 cm dilated so they started me with some gels to soften my cervix. It took three doses of those, which was the first 6 hours that we were there. At 5:00 p.m. they started pitocin and at 5:30 I got my epidural. My dr came in at 6:00 p.m and broke my water and at that time I was 4 cm. They checked me again at 7:10 and I was 6 cm and then again at 8:00 and I was 10 cm! We were so surprised and not expecting it to go that fast. She said his head was right there and we were ready to go. Just one problem, we were still waiting on richards mom. Everyone was ready and waiting to deliver this baby and she arrived just in time! He was born at 8:26 p.m., weighing 7 lbs 9.5 oz and measuring 20 3/4 inches long! His little face is so perfect. I wasnt expecting him to be so small. He's exactly one week old today and doing perfect.

Our first moments with him.
SO precious!
Look at that face.
Isn't he adorable!
